Trinket Princess: How To Be A Trinket Princess

It doesn’t take a genius to be a Trinket Princess. All it takes is some ingenuity, the willingness to take your stand on what accessories do the magic for you… and, of course, there’s the crown that every Trinket Princess has to wear.

Although I am currently the one and only Trinket Princess, there shall soon be many others. My title, sadly, shall not be exclusive as time passes by. But I do take small comfort in the fact that there is no other Trinket Princess in the Philippines other than myself.\

If you want to sit on my throne someday, then I am more than willing to show you the ropes. I may be the Trinket Princess, but I’m not snotty royalty! ^_^

So, here’s a step-by-step guide on how to be a Trinket Princess:

Know your personal style. Have you defined yourself in terms of your very own taste in fashion? To be a Trinket Princess, you have to know who you are before you can wear the much coveted crown.
Have a wide and varied collection of accessories. Do you love bags? Brooches? Pins? Earrings, bangles, bracelets, necklaces? Jewelry? How about scarves? Do you invest in great accessories? You must – if you want to become a Trinket Princess in your own right.
Know your terms. What’s the difference between a scarf and a shawl? Do you know what a pashmina is? Can you spot a raffia if you see one? Being a Trinket Princess means learning more about the terms you shall use everyday as the absolute princess of accessories!
Practice what you preach. As a Trinket Princess, I have to be able to talk the talk and walk the walk. If I didn’t use accessories in real life, I’d be a phony, not royalty! To be regal is to be real; so, if you want to be a Trinket Princess, start wearing those accessories, pronto!
Lastly, prepare for the crown. The crown that a Trinket Princess wears is heavy – figuratively, that is. The title of “Trinket Princess” is not to be taken lightly! Learn to wear your crown with pride and share your wisdom with the people who adore your regal wit. Being a Trinket Princess is not just about appearances; it is also about having substance to boot.
